Michael Charles Hidalgo

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Michael left us to be with Daddy, Mom and Marcia.

Michael was a master welder and started welding in high school. He was fearless and if he saw something that interested him, he tried it and mastered it - water skiing, snow skiing, woodworking, grilling, parasailing. He earned his nickname SAM (Smart Ass Mike).

Michael leaves behind: his son, Joshua; his partner, Betsy Lewis; his sister, Cindy Holmgreen (Jim) and his sister, Debbie Hidalgo. He also leaves behind: his nephew, J Holmgreen (Tristen & Ava); his nephew, David Holmgreen (Andi) (Addilynn); and his niece, Adreann Peters (Darren) (Ryleigh & Laynee).

Michael only wished to be cremated and his ashes interred with his beloved parents at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
