Alfredo Cornejo

Sunrise: September 8, 1995
Sunset: May 5, 2026

Alfredo Cornejo, fondly known as Pucho to his family, 30 years old, of Vallejo, CA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5.

This is a tremendous loss to all of those who loved him.

Pucho was born on September 28, 1995 in San Francisco, CA to Julia & Jose Cornejo. Pucho graduated from Independence High school. At the age of 15 Alfredo began working at his parents Taqueria, Taqueria Mana. He worked there for many years, often becoming friends with many customers. Over the years he worked security, worked at wineries in the Napa Valley, was a forklift driver at Kortick, & worked at CMC (Formerly, Foley Products). He met a lot friends through these jobs.

Alfredo was known for how hardworking he was, how goofy he was & how much he loved those he cared about. He showed that love in countless everyday ways. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and understood - whether through a conversation, a joke, a helping hand, or simply his steady presence. Alfredo made friends everywhere he went; to know him was to love him. Pucho will be remembered for his love of the Niners & Giants. He was their #1 fan.

Pucho was a great son; he was very family oriented and had the best nicknames for his loved ones - always calling his mom Jufu and dad Jeff. He was his mom’s #1 supporter, constantly there for her. They had an extremely special connection; as he was her only baby boy. They would share intimate moments talking about his life struggles and hearing his mom’s wisdom over life. Pucho would come in with a huge smile asking everyone how they were doing. Since a kid he was very full of energy. He was the prankster/jokester of the family. Alfredo was an amazing uncle, always showing up for his nephews and constantly teasing them. His nephews loved him dearly. Even though he was the youngest sibling, he acted like the older brother to his sisters and was always over protective of them. Pucho was the glue of the family.

Above all else, Alfredo was a devoted father. His young son was the center of his world and the source of his greatest joy and pride. From morning and night routines, to small adventures and quiet moments together, he treasured every part of being a dad. The love he gave his son was constant, wholehearted, and unmistakable. Though his son is too young to fully understand this loss, he will grow up surrounded by stories of his father’s love, kindness, and devotion.

He also leaves behind Hannah Hitchen, the mother of his child and his closest friend and trusted co-parent. They shared a deep bond built on respect, loyalty, humor, and a mutual devotion to raising their son together. Side by side, they created a loving and supportive foundation for their son, always united in wanting the very best for their child.

Pucho is survived by his son Alfredo Jr (AJ), his best friend & loving co-parent Hannah, his Mother Julia, Father Jose, sisters Yesenia & Tania, nephews Luis (Jr.), Benny, Angelo, Issac, & Martin, along with many aunts, uncles, & cousins who loved him dearly.

Those who knew Alfredo will remember his smile, laugh, generosity, strength, and ability to show up for people. His life was far too short, but the love he gave — especially as a father, friend, and family member — will continue to live on in the people who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
